ADRIAN — Lenawee County leaders are getting an early look at the county’s financial position for 2026.
A General Fund report presented to the Personnel and Ways and Means Committee shows the county operating under a total annual revenue budget of about $43.1 million.
As of February 28th, the report shows roughly $3.3 million collected so far this year, or about eight percent of the total annual revenue target.
The report tracks income and spending across major county departments including the Sheriff’s Office, courts, administration, information technology, and public safety services.
Officials use the monthly financial report to monitor budget performance and ensure county operations remain within approved spending limits as the fiscal year continues.
