ADRIAN — A Lenawee County expungement fair is scheduled in Adrian later this spring to help residents begin clearing eligible criminal records.
The Lenawee County Bar Association, Legal Services of South Central Michigan, and the nonprofit Safe & Just Michigan are organizing the event.
The expungement fair will take place Friday, May 22 from noon until 4 p.m.
It will be held at 425 North Main Street in Adrian on the third floor.
Organizers say the event will help residents start the process of expunging past criminal history and determine whether they qualify under Michigan law.
Participants are asked to complete a prescreen registration before attending.
Information about the prescreen process is available through the event registration form online.
The event is intended to help eligible individuals begin the legal process of clearing qualifying offenses from their record.
