ADRIAN — A Holocaust survivor who has shared her story in Adrian will return next month for a new community presentation.
Irene Butter will speak Sunday, April 19th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Croswell Opera House. Butter will present a new program focused on her life and how it intersected with that of Anne Frank, based on the presentation she delivered after receiving the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award in the Netherlands in 2025.
Organizers say the larger venue will allow more community members to attend, but everyone must register in advance. A registration link is available with this story at WLEN dot com.
Meanwhile, the pop-up Holocaust Museum remains open until April 26 at 136 East Maumee Street in Adrian. Hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The events are being sponsored by the Adrian Diversity Event Fund.
