LENAWEE CO. — Lenawee County is hiring seasonal park maintenance workers for the upcoming park season.
County officials say the part-time positions will help maintain parks and public facilities from late April or early May through mid-October. Workers typically schedule four days per week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Duties include mowing, trimming and landscaping, along with assisting with repairs, carpentry, plumbing and general facility upkeep. Staff may also help operate maintenance equipment, inspect park buildings and support improvement or remodeling projects.
Applicants should have mechanical aptitude, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and a valid driver’s license. The position also requires handling physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
County officials say the seasonal roles are designed for people who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and helping maintain local parks for public use.
