ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Human Services Building will undergo scheduled elevator preventative maintenance March 11.
County officials say elevators will be taken out of service one at a time throughout the day to reduce disruptions. At least one elevator will remain operational for visitors and staff while maintenance is completed.
Officials say preventative maintenance is conducted to maintain safe and reliable building operations and reduce the risk of unexpected outages.
Visitors planning to conduct business at the Human Services Building that day are encouraged to allow extra time for travel inside the building as brief wait times may occur.
County officials say the work is part of routine facility upkeep to help ensure continued accessibility for those who rely on elevator service.
