Jerry Lee VanBrunt, age 84, passed away at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was born to Albert and Emma (Hayden) VanBrunt in Adrian, Michigan on June 19, 1941.
On July 1, 1961, Jerry married the love of his life Vivian Ramsdell in Adrian. They have spent a wonderful 64 years together. Jerry was known for his work ethic. He worked for the Road Commission as a foreman and then would go home to work on the farm. Jerry had a passion for antique cars. He was a member of the Irish Hills Car Club and The National Chevy Club that traveled all over the country. Jerry and Vivian enjoyed their many adventures traveling in their car with the club. Jerry was a loving family man. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family, especially his grand and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish the memory of Jerry are his wife, Vivian; sons, Douglas (Gwen) Van Brunt and David (Michelle) Van Brunt, grandchildren Derek (Maranda) VanBrunt, Megan (Mike Giggard) VanBrunt, Kylee( Ryan Helinski) VanBrunt, Baylee VanBrunt, Karly (Isaiah) Willett, Bradlee VanBrunt; great grandchildren, Leela and Boyd VanBrunt; brothers Charles VanBrunt, Mike Deatrick, Floyd Deatrick, and Tom Deatrick. Preceding him in death are his parents, stepfather Floyd; son, Jeffrey L. VanBrunt and brother, Gerald VanBrunt.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
