ADRIAN — The Warner trial continued today, but jurors were not inside the Lenawee County courtroom.
Instead, the jury was transported to the Munger Road property for a court-authorized site visit. Because the proceedings took place at the property, there was no in-court video to report, and media access was restricted during the viewing.
The visit comes after several days of testimony focused on activity at the farm in April 2021. Jurors have heard from a farm employee who testified he moved an anhydrous ammonia tank into Building 7, also known as the spray barn, at Dale Warner’s request on April 27.
A welding expert also testified he identified what he described as a repair weld on Tank 34. Law enforcement and a township fire chief previously described drone footage and equipment movement on the property.
Court proceedings are scheduled to resume Thursday, February 26, in Lenawee County Circuit Court.
