Donna Marie Zeemer, age 101, of Barnesville, GA, formerly of Britton, MI, passed away February 19, 2026. She was born February 24, 1924, in Haskins, OH. On Oct. 20, 1956 she married Kenneth Raymond Zeemer at the First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Monroe, MI. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1993.
Donna was retired from Britton-Macon Public Schools. She was a member of Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene and Nazarene Church of Barnesville, GA.
Donna is survived by her daughter Marie, two grandsons, Ronald (Rebecca) Roden, and William Miller; granddaughter, Sherakee Hicks; and great grandchildren, Jacob Roden and Emily (Dane) Wheeler.
In addition to her husband Kenneth, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Carl Zeemer in 1997, son-in-law, Ronald Wilson in 2023, and sister Josephine Emmerich, in 1997.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026 at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI with Rev. Kyle Boils officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Lasalle, MI.
Visitation will also take place on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral at Purse & Son Funeral Tecumseh, MI.
