
Glen LeRoy Klingensmith, age 82, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 26, 1943 in Vandergrift, PA, the son of the late Murtoff LeRoy and Eleanor (Connor) Klingensmith. Glen was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for the Tecumseh Products for 13 years then afterwards went to work for Ford Motor Co. in the maintenance department before retiring in 2006. On May 10, 1964 he married Vincie Ann “Judy” Camardella and they shared 40 years together before her passing on March 12, 2004. He then married Karin Walker Bruce on December 14, 2007 and she survives.
Glen was a member of the Tecumseh American Legion. He loved fishing, hunting, boating and classic cars especially showing his Mustang.
Along with his wife, Karin, Glen is survived by his children, Tammie (Mike) Rosenberg of Tecumseh, Scott (Tami) Klingensmith of Pittsford, Brad (Tina) Lembrick of Shenandoah, IA; his step-children, William (Melisea) Bruce of Jackson and Jamie (Bob) Ryan of Tecumseh; grandchildren, Kelsey (Dusty) Morgan, Karley Rosenberg, MiKayla (Chris) Veldhuizen, Brock Klingensmith, Savanna (Ethan) Jackson, Sheyanne and Serenity Klingensmith, Haley (Gus) Anderson, Jordyn (Armando Valquier) Lembrick, Dustin (Paydon) Lembrick, Thomas (Kaileigh) Bruce, Jordan Winkelman, Hunter (Bailey) Beyer, Baylee Beyer, Paisley Ryan and great-grandchildren, Madden, Navy, Holland, Caden, Elliette, Addy, Wrenley, Brody, Emi, Vera, Emersyn, Denver, Brooks, Levi and Willow along with several nieces and nephews. Along with his first wife, Judy and his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Miller and a brother, Gary Klingensmith.
A Celebration of Life for Glen will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Tecumseh, MI on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 12pm with Rev. Eugene Andrus officiating. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of the celebration at 12pm at the church. Inurnment will follow at Brookside Cemetery with military honors performed under the auspices of the Tecumseh American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Hospice of Lenawee.
