Firearm Violation Leads to Arrerst

MONROE — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the arrest of a subject for a Firearm Violation, stemming from a traffic stop in LaSalle Township.

At 3:49AM on Saturday, Monroe County Sheriff Deputy Tanner Goss conducted a traffic stop on a dark blue Dodge Charger, at South Telegraph Road and Stein Road.

A search of the vehicle was conducted and a 9mm handgun was recovered from the vehicle’s interior.

The driver, a 26-year-old male from Toledo, did not possess a license to carry a concealed pistol.

He was arrested and lodged at the Monroe County Jail on the charge of Carrying a Concealed Firearm.
