LENAWEE CO. — The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a fish recall affecting products distributed in Michigan.

Sobico USA LLC is recalling more than 13,000 pounds of frozen, raw Siluriformes fish imported from Vietnam without required federal reinspection.

The recalled fish products include Shera brand Broadhead Clarias whole gutted fish and fish steaks produced June 24, 2025.

They carry Vietnam Establishment Number DL 811, shipping mark VN slash 811 slash IV slash 107, and best-before dates of June 23, 2027.

The products were shipped to wholesalers and retailers in several states, including Michigan.

No illnesses have been reported.

Consumers are advised not to eat the fish and to throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.

FSIS says it will post retail distribution details as they become available.
