ADRIAN — The Warner trial continued Thursday afternoon with testimony from Oakland County Deputy Medical Examiner Dr. Patrick Cho.

Cho told jurors he performed the autopsy in August 2024. He testified the body was wrapped in tarps and secured with duct tape. He described injuries including contusions to the face and head, internal bleeding on the brain, and signs consistent with strangulation.

Cho testified the cause of death was strangulation and multiple blunt force injuries to the head and face. He ruled the manner of death a homicide. He also stated toxicology testing did not detect oxycodone.

On cross-examination, Cho testified the body condition alone could not determine an exact date of death and that investigators rely on last-known-alive information when listing a date.

Jurors later heard additional recorded interview excerpts, followed by testimony about a 2024 search warrant involving an anhydrous ammonia tank located at a Paragon Road property.

The trial continues on Friday, February 20th.
