
ADRIAN — The Lenawee Regional Challenge brought 55 students together Tuesday for a chemistry-focused academic competition at the Adrian Public Schools Performing Arts Center.
The event, titled “You Be the Solution,” featured teams of three to four students from Adrian, Blissfield, Onsted and Tecumseh. Teams competed in four rounds of 10 questions, testing chemistry knowledge and teamwork under timed conditions.
Tecumseh earned first place. Onsted teams placed second and third.
The first-place Tecumseh team included Reed Philip, Colin Marsh and Annabelle Beyer.
Onsted’s second-place team included Molly Stoos, Jesse Purdue, Logan Sierra and Sylas Johnstone. The third-place team included Samarah Huffman, Olivia Knipp and Haileigh Helminiak.
The Lenawee Regional Challenge was supported by the Lenawee Chemical Collaborative, Lenawee Now, the Lenawee Intermediate School District and Adrian Public Schools.
Organizers said the event highlights continued investment in STEM education and career readiness across Lenawee County.
