ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners has approved Community Action Agency as the third-party administrator for the county’s CDBG housing rehabilitation grant.
The action follows a formal Request for Proposals process that was authorized last month. RFPs were accepted for two weeks. County officials reported that one proposal was submitted, from Community Action Agency.
Personnel and Ways & Means recommended entering into a collaboration with the agency to administer the Michigan Neighborhood Community Development Block Grant housing rehabilitation program.
The third-party administrator will oversee implementation of the grant, which is designed to support housing rehabilitation efforts within Lenawee County.
The recommendation moved forward from committee and was approved by the full board during its regular meeting Wednesday.
The grant program will now proceed under Community Action Agency’s administration.
