ADRIAN — Six Adrian Public Schools students have received the district’s first Outstanding Citizens Awards for the year 2026.
Superintendent Nate Parker presented the awards to the students, who represent the district’s four elementary schools, as well as Springbrook Middle School and Adrian High School, during Monday night’s Board of Education meeting.
The winning students were Alex Whitaker-Bolford of Alexander Elementary, Maddox Gillespie of Lincoln Elementary, Dereck Torres-Rodriguez of Michener Elementary, Harper Pless of Prarie Elementary, Karly Smith of Springbrook Middle School, and Nise Nombo of Adrian High School.
