ADRIAN — The INAI at Madden Art Gallery will officially open this spring with a new exhibit focused on women’s art.
The gallery, located in Madden Hall on the Adrian Dominican Sisters campus, will debut with Engage: The Art of Women on Sunday, April 12. An artist’s reception is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m.
The new space replaces the original INAI gallery, which operated for more than 40 years on the Motherhouse Campus. Organizers say the updated location includes a quiet room, a meditation area, and a small gallery designed for contemplation.
The opening exhibit highlights the Adrian Dominican Congregation’s Enactment on Women, approved in 2022, which emphasizes gender equity and women’s full participation in church and society.
Artists featured include Adrian Dominican Sisters, Associates, and regional contributors. The gallery is accessible near Holy Rosary Chapel through the Weber Retreat and Conference Center.
