WASHINGTON — The Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy has advanced the Energy Emergency Leadership Act, a bill introduced by Michigan Congressman Tim Walberg.

Walberg says the legislation comes as attacks on critical energy infrastructure continue to increase nationwide.

He says the bill is designed to strengthen cybersecurity and emergency response planning within the energy sector.
