
CAROLYN A. LEIDIGH, age 91 years, of Bryan, formerly of Hudson and Clayton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Home Away From Home Assisted Living, Camden. She was born on July 30, 1934, in Hudson, the daughter of Lenard (L.D.) and Margeruite A. (Gerry) Ashbeck.
Carolyn lived in Hudson until she was 13 years old and then moved to Clayton. She attended Hudson Schools. She married Dorman Curtis and had four sons, she raised her family in Clayton and worked for 20 years at the Hudson Schools cafeteria. Carolyn was a den mother for the Cub Scouts for 8 years. She loved crafts and made her own greeting cards for years. Carolyn married Robert Leidigh on June 29, 1991, and moved to Bryan, Ohio. She was a member of the Eastland Baptist Church in Bryan and worked in the church food pantry for many years.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Robert, three sons, Perry (Brenda LaFollette) Curtis, Michael (Karole) Curtis and David (Shirley) Curtis, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two step-sons, Dale and Mark Leidigh, 5 step grandchildren, 9 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Gerald Curtis.
Funeral Services for Carolyn will be at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Hudson with Pastor Jeff Sheldon officiating. Burial will follow at North Dover Cemetery, Clayton. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
