ADRIAN — The armed robbery case against Andrew Coleman Lambert Jr. remains active in Lenawee County Circuit Court.

Court records show the felony charges were bound over after a preliminary examination, allowing the case to proceed in the 39th Circuit Court. Lambert faces five felony counts connected to the December 5 robbery at the Advance America business in Adrian.

This includes armed robbery, bank robbery, two counts of felony firearm, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. A habitual offender notice has also been filed.

Bond remains set at $599,000 cash or surety and has not been posted. Lambert remains lodged in the Lenawee County Jail.

Court filings indicate Lambert waived arraignment and entered a not-guilty plea. The case is now scheduled for a pretrial hearing on March 4.
