ADRIAN — The Department of Veterans Affairs Executive Committee has re-elected Michael Shadbolt as chair for the 2026 calendar year.
Committee members unanimously approved Shadbolt’s return to the leadership role during their January meeting, continuing his oversight of veterans services and policy coordination at the county level.
The committee also selected Ted Crockett to serve as secretary for 2026. The secretary position supports committee operations and steps in when the chair is unavailable.
The leadership votes were part of routine organizational business at the start of the new year and help ensure continuity as the committee works through grant funding, veterans assistance programs, and long-term planning.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Executive Committee meets again in March under its newly adopted bi-monthly schedule.
