Joette Holly Crain, age 73, from Chelsea, MI, passed away, January 2, 2026, at ProMedica Hickman Hospital. She was born to Alice and Thomas Moore on January 29, 1952. Joette loved to spend time with her family cooking and watching movies. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting hats and other items for her friends and family. Joette is survived by her 3 children, Shannon Carpenter (Pam), Stacy Cianciolo, and John Crain (Destinee); 4 grandchildren Vincent, Victor, Giovanni, and Charlotte; 7 great grandchildren; and her, sister Ann Steinaway. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Russel Moore, Robert Moore, Colleen Brown, Donna Bacon, and Janie Parker. She graduated from Chelsea High School and retired from Tech Group in Grand Rapids, MI in 2017. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
