
ADRIAN — The Adrian City Commission has a packed agenda for their next meeting, which will be held tomorrow night due to the Martin Luther King Day holiday.
According to the agenda, the meeting will start with two proclamations recognizing Observable Space, the company formed in a merger between PlaneWave Instruments and the Los Angeles startup OurSky, and the Adrian Neighbor-to-Neighbor Movement.
The Commission will then discuss several topics, including the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan, Special Assessment Districts and the decertification of streets, the Crimson Holdings Funds Program, the South Main Street Pedestrian Tunnel, and the city’s agreement with Lenawee Now.
Commissioners are also expected to vote on resolutions to award a bid for the demolition of the former Courthouse Commons building on 227 North Winter Street and to renew their agreement with the Mannik & Smith Group for engineering services.
