ADRIAN — Dustin Krasny has been elected vice chair of the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners.

The board unanimously approved Krasny for the role during its January meeting.

The vice chair position is elected annually, separate from the board chair, which serves a two-year term.

On first reference, Commissioner Dustin Krasny thanked fellow commissioners and county residents, and said he looks forward to continuing his service in the coming year.

Commissioner Ralph Tillotson was not present for the vote due to illness.

Krasny will serve as vice chair for the 2026 calendar year, assisting with board leadership duties and presiding over meetings when the chair is unavailable.
