TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh Board of Education elected its officers for the 2026 calendar year during its regular meeting Monday night.

Board members voted separately on each position, beginning with board president. Rebecca Brooks was elected president following a roll-call vote. She then assumed the chair to oversee the remaining elections.

Lynne Davis was elected vice president.

Dr. Jacob Martinez was elected secretary.

The elections are held annually at the board’s January organizational meeting, in accordance with board policy.
