TECUMSEH — The City of Tecumseh Economic Development team is launching 2026 with a new guiding theme focused on agility, aiming to strengthen how the city supports local businesses.
Officials say the approach emphasizes flexibility, responsiveness and collaboration as the city works on key priorities this year. Those priorities include business attraction and retention, redevelopment opportunities, housing initiatives and continued downtown vitality.
City leaders stress that success in 2026 will depend on active participation from the business community, with an increased focus on shared planning and open communication.
As part of that effort, the Economic Development team will now send a monthly business update during the first week of each month. Local businesses are encouraged to contribute announcements, events and news items for inclusion.
Submissions should be sent to the city by the first of each month.
Officials say the goal is to keep businesses informed, improve coordination and ensure Tecumseh remains responsive to changing economic conditions as the year moves forward.
