ADRIAN — The Align Center for Workforce Development is promoting expanded workforce training and certification opportunities for residents and employers across Lenawee County.

The center is offering multiple safety and OSHA-focused courses in partnership with Eastern Michigan University. Those include permit-required confined space entry, fall protection training, OSHA 10-hour construction outreach, and excavation, trenching and shoring with a Michigan excavation update.

Align is also providing professional and leadership development courses through Lean Leadership Training. Offerings include Lean Basics, Achieving Supervisory Excellence, and Lean Daily Management Systems for Managers.

In addition, the center is encouraging pre-registration for several skilled trades career pathway programs, including HVACR, plumbing, electrical, and floor installation. These programs are designed to prepare participants for in-demand careers and nationally recognized certifications.
