ADRIAN — City officials say a full update on the stalled redevelopment of the former Bixby Hospital site will be presented later this winter.
During Monday’s Adrian City Commission meeting, city administration confirmed that a detailed status report on the Bixby property is planned for February.
The site has remained inactive following earlier demolition work and agreements with a private developer, prompting questions from residents during public comment.
City officials said the upcoming update will outline the project’s history, current standing, and the city’s next steps moving forward.
Administrators indicated the February discussion is intended to give commissioners and the public a clearer understanding of where the redevelopment effort stands and what options may be available.
