ADRIAN — The Lenawee Community Foundation has added capacity to support local needs with the appointment of Madison Roberts as the Herrick Foundation Grants and Programs Fellow.
The new fellowship role is focused on listening, learning, and working alongside community partners to strengthen grants, scholarships, and programs across Lenawee County. The work is expected to support children, families, seniors, veterans, and other residents through initiatives aimed at improving quality of life.
Roberts brings experience in public health, grant coordination, and community-based programming. She holds degrees in public health, public health policy, and law from the University of Toledo. Her previous work includes serving as a Healthy Living Coordinator with the YMCA of Greater Toledo, supporting grant-funded health initiatives and regional safety and transportation efforts.
A lifelong Adrian resident, Roberts will focus on understanding local needs and connecting resources to community priorities.
The fellowship is funded through the Rural Community Foundation Fellowship initiative, supported by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation and the Herrick Foundation.
