ADRIAN — Two new police officers were officially sworn in during the Adrian City Commission meeting Tuesday night, marking the next step in their training with the Adrian Police Department.
Police Chief Vince Emerick told commissioners the department welcomed Joshua Bonaminio and Carson Martel.
Emerick said Martel graduated from Tecumseh High School and attended Adrian College, where he played football. Martel was recruited from Adrian College Campus Safety, where he worked as a safety officer before being hired.
Following their introduction, the city clerk administered the oath of office, officially swearing Bonaminio and Martel in as police officers.
