TECUMSEH — Downtown Tecumseh will host its annual Ice Sculpture Festival on Friday and Saturday, January 16 and 17.
The two-day winter event will feature more than 40 ice sculptures displayed throughout the downtown district, with activities running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
A highlight of the festival takes place Saturday, January 17, with Dueling Carvers competitions scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the corner of Chicago Boulevard and South Evans Street. Attendees will help choose the carving themes and vote to determine the winning artist. Live ice carving demonstrations are also planned throughout the day.
The event includes a downtown scavenger hunt, encouraging visitors to explore sculpture locations and local businesses. Participants will have a chance to win a gift card prize pack.
A map of sculpture locations and scavenger hunt details will be released closer to the event. A link for updates can be found here.
The Tecumseh Ice Sculpture Festival is open to the public and designed as a family-friendly winter attraction.
