LENAWEE CO. — Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan has announced a leadership change.
The nonprofit says Arden Floran has been appointed president and chief executive officer, effective Jan. 12, 2026.
The organization reports Floran brings extensive experience in nonprofit management, workforce development, and organizational leadership. He will oversee Goodwill’s retail operations, employment and training programs, and human services across the region.
Board Chair Frank Hribar said the appointment follows a national search and is aimed at positioning the organization for continued growth and impact throughout southeastern Michigan.
Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan serves thousands of people each year through job training, employment placement, and supportive services. Those programs are funded in part through its network of retail stores and community support.
The organization says Floran will focus on long-term strategy, financial stewardship, and expanding workforce opportunities as regional needs continue to evolve.
