MICHIGAN — A new survey reveals Michigan is home to two of the most Christmassy stores in the country.

The nationwide survey of 3,022 shoppers was conducted by financial media company MarketBeat to identify which stores create the strongest holiday atmosphere in each state.

Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth ranked number one in Michigan. Shoppers cited its massive size, year-round Christmas displays, and immersive holiday atmosphere as reasons it continues to draw visitors from across the region.

Second on the list was The Santa House Gift Shop in Midland. Located next to the city’s historic Santa House, the shop was recognized for its storybook setting, seasonal décor, and family-friendly experience.

The survey also found that while price remains the top factor for most shoppers, a significant number prioritize holiday atmosphere and nostalgia when choosing where to shop.
