Karen Sue (Burrow) Schwab, age 74, of Morenci, died early Thursday morning, December 18, 2025, at her home while under the care of Elara Caring Hospice. She was born April 7, 1951, in Adrian, to George and Lurlene Burrow.
She traveled extensively during her life and enjoyed visiting new places. She loved spending time playing games with her family, fishing, and doing puzzles. She loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed road trips with her partner, Becky.
She is survived by her daughter Michelle Smith (Jason Howley) and grandson, Christopher Foreman, of Colorado. Also surviving are her siblings, Randy (Kelley) Burrow, Charles (Bea) Burrow, and Charlene Liechty with numerous nieces and nephews. She was cared for in her final days by her loving partner, Becky Powell.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her two nephews, Jamie Witt and Ron Burrow.
Per her wishes, there will be no service at this time. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life in the coming months.
Donations may be made to Karen’s brother, Randy Burrow, to assist with the cost of the cremation. Her family would like to thank everyone that took the time to call or stop and visit and offer support to her in the end. She spent her final days surrounded by her family and friends.
