Arthur S. Garcia, Jr., age 68, of Adrian, MI, passed away December 15, 2025. He was born March 19, 1957, in Adrian, MI, the son of Arturo & Bessie (Pate) Garcia. Arthur was a graduate of Madison High School. He was a hardworking, blue-collar man who retired from General Motors. Arthur loved hard and his generosity was unmatched amongst his family and friends. He loved his loud music, his Lions and his Tigers, but most of all he loved his family. Arthur adored all of his five children and loved spoiling his grandchildren. There wasn’t a Birthday that passed that he didn’t call every child, to remind them all to wish the other a Happy Birthday. Arthur was kind and caring and went out of his way to make others feel special. He enjoyed sending cards, giving gifts and gathering for large family meals. Even if he didn’t have a lot to offer, he would still give you half of what he had. He wore his heart on his sleeve and will be remembered for his kind heart and his gut busting belly laugh. He accepted you for who you were and never judged anyone for their trials and tribulations. Arthur was a simple man who prided his life on people instead of things. His greatest joys in life were his children’s accomplishments and the way his grandchildren’s smiles made him melt. He loved to make you laugh, pull pranks and yell out to give you a good scare from time to time. He will be gravely missed. Arthur is survived by his children, DJ (Beth) Garcia, Jared (Amanda) Garcia, Lindsey (Nick) Mitchell, Zac (Jasmin) Garcia and Jaime Meyer; his grandchildren, Kendall, Adrian, Isla, Mateo, Maya, Melissa, Caleb, Clohie, Jessica and Matthew; his former wife, Debra Garcia; two sisters, Linda Matthews and Kathy (Doug) Louder; one brother in law, Dwayne Dalgard; and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arturo & Bessie Garcia; one sister, Mary Ann Dalgard; brother in law, DeLeon Matthews; and nephew; Mike Matthews.
