Norma Lee Jacobs, age 84, of Onsted, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, At Lynnwood Manor in Adrian, Michigan. She was born on December 5, 1941, in Carter County, TN to Carl and Bell (Norris) Hyder.
On February 2, 1963, Norma married Douglas Jacobs, Sr. in Adrian. They shared over 58 years of marriage until his passing on November 24, 2021.
Norma worked at Bixby hospital as an LPN and then in the physical therapy department. She truly loved her job. When she was not at work you could find her enjoying the outdoors this would include mowing her lawn, she loved to have a perfect lawn. She loved to go snowmobiling in the wintertime. She also loved her dogs.
To cherish her memory, Norma leaves a son, Douglas Jacobs; brother, Carl Edward Hyder (Lulu). One grandchild Derek Christopher Righter and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister Barbara Ann Warren.
There will be a Graveside service on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian with Pastor Darrell Hyder officiating.
