Dolores Barth, age 98, of Adrian, Michigan passed away Friday afternoon, December 12, 2025, at Promedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital surrounded by her family.
Dolores was born on May 25, 1927, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Virgil and Virgil (Hines) Burwell. She was raised with her three siblings in the Adrian area and was a proud Maple, graduating with the Class of 1946.
On December 31, 1947, Dolores married Harold Barth in Adrian. They were fortunate to celebrate over 71 years together before his passing in 2020.
Dolores was employed with Tecumseh Products, retiring in 1993. She provided a warm home environment to her family and embraced the role of “Mom” to her daughter. Dolores enjoyed being outdoors in her flower garden and working on various sewing projects.
She leaves behind her daughter; Debbie (Bob) St. Aubin, granddaughter Jennifer (Aaron Dusseau) St. Aubin, and great granddaughters Izabella, Audrey and Aryanna. In addition to her husband, Harold, Dolores was preceded in death by her siblings, Baunieta, Donald and Earl Burwell.
Visitation will take place on Friday December 19, from 11am to 12pm at Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian, MI. Funeral service will begin at 12pm with Rev. Larry Betz officiating. Committal will follow at Oakwood cemetery.
