David L. Ward, age 76, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital. David was born on October 21, 1949, in Adrian, Michigan, to Edward and Martha (McQuirt) Ward.
David’s greatest love was his Country, and he proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He had a passion for sports cars and had many throughout his lifetime and had a great fondness for Trans Ams. David also loved being part of the Adrian Street Cruisers and participating in charity events around the area with his cars.
David leaves behind his dear wife, Lois Ward, and children: David Ward, Edward Ward, Tonya Braun, and Jason Ward. special sister and brother-in-law; Peggy and Mike Rutherford, also siblings, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and 3 stepsisters,
At David’s request, cremation has taken place, and a private military service will be held at a later date.
