FRENCHTOWN — Michigan State Police will host a child safety car seat check event in Monroe later this month.

The car seat check event is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Frenchtown Fire Department, located at 6940 North Monroe Street.

Certified technicians will be on site to inspect child car seats and provide guidance on correct installation and proper use, helping ensure children are riding safely and according to current safety standards.

Advance registration is required. Those who have already signed up are encouraged to review available time slots and confirm their appointment online.
