ADRIAN — The annual community tree lighting brought several hundred people to the Old Courthouse lawn Monday night for the official start of Lenawee County’s holiday season.

The eleventh-annual event featured music from Adrian Middle School students, Adrian College singers, and a full countdown to the lighting of this year’s donated tree.

Before the ceremony, County Commissioner Jim Van Doren welcomed the crowd and highlighted the volunteers who made the event possible.
