Betty Anne Rupley – Hudson

Betty Anne Rupley, age 68 years of Hudson, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, November 26, 2025, at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian. She was born on August 9, 1957, in Adrian, the daughter of Harlan George and Mary Adeline (Guyer) Jackson.

Betty graduated from Hudson High School in 1975. She married William C. Rupley on August 23, 1975, in Hudson. He survives. Betty worked for AAA for over 30 years, retiring in 2009. She spent 10 plus years baking and selling cookies at the farmers market which she thoroughly enjoyed. Betty was a very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church serving in many capacities. She embraced being devoted wife and mother supporting her family in all their sports, school functions and work, then came the title of grandmother which swelled her heart to a level of pride and joy which was hard to imagine. Betty loved spending time with family, especially the Annual Christmas Gatherings and trips to Chicago.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William “Bill” Rupley, her three sons, William, Robert and Benjamin, special nephew, Ray (Cathy) Rupley, five grandchildren, Grayson, Madyson, Emmlyn, Katlyn and Jackson, a sister, Patricia (Jim) Smith and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Scott Douglas (Diane) Jackson.

Funeral Services for Betty will be held at 11:00 A.M on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Hudson with Pastor Al Muck officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson. Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Hudson.
