Aldean Arnold Guenther, age 83 of Adrian passed away in his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was born in Ann Arbor, MI on January 13, 1942, to Arnold Guenther and Myrtle Dennis. On October 12, 2012, Aldean married his loving wife, Denise Guenther, who survives. He worked as machine repair electrician for Gelman’s Sciences up until his retirement in 1998. Aldean was a previous member of the Bethel United Church of Christ in Manchester, MI. He enjoyed many activities such as farming, hunting, fishing, reading, and cooking, as well as building model cars. Aldean was described as an avid Tigers, Pistons, Lions, and Michigan fan.
Aldean is survived by his wife, Denise K. Guenther; sons Dean (Audralynn) Guenther and Bryan (Danielle) Guenther; step-son Alexander (Haley) Stratton III; daughters Tina (Christopher) Creps and Connie Guenther; step-daughters Christin (Russell) Grandy and Candi (Lester) Carpenter; sisters Carol A. Colby and Mary (Dan) Wages; 9 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchildren. Aldean is preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert; brother-in-law Jim Colby; and sister-in-law Nancy Guenther.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM, at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian.
