WASHINGTON — Congressman Tim Walberg says a new bill advancing in committee aims to resolve what he calls a policy imbalance affecting motorcyclists entering National Parks.
Walberg’s “America the Beautiful Motorcycle Fairness Act” follows a 2024 federal policy change that restricted how riders could use the annual America the Beautiful access pass. The bill, advanced by the House Natural Resources Committee, would modify entry rules to allow shared use similar to other vehicle types.
The move comes during continued debate in Washington over federal spending and access to public lands.
