LENAWEE CO. — As Lenawee County approaches the Thanksgiving holiday, County Administrator Kim Murphy is reflecting on the importance of unity and shared purpose across the community.
Murphy said, “I want to take a moment to reflect on the many reasons we have to be thankful here in Lenawee County. This season reminds us of the value of community, partnership, and the shared commitment we all have to making our county stronger and more connected.”
She added that as we head into Thanksgiving week, there are many reasons to be thankful in Lenawee County.
This week’s county highlights included the annual Legislative Dinner, where Murphy delivered the 2025 State of the County, courthouse Adoption Day celebrations, and the announcement of a $1.5 million housing grant through the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.
Murphy encouraged residents to take time next week to rest, reflect and enjoy the holiday with those closest to them.
