ADRIAN — A new roundabout is planned for construction next summer at the intersection of Valley Highway and Occidental Highway, according to the Lenawee County Road Commission.
The project is intended to improve safety in a high-risk curve area.
Managing Director Scott Merillat told listeners during a recent WLEN Viewpoint appearance that design work is nearly complete.

Construction is expected to begin during the 2026 summer work season. The project is being advanced under a state road safety initiative.
