LANSING — The Michigan Secretary of State has released a new license plate recognizing the service of women veterans.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson unveiled the design, which features a vignette of a woman veteran with the words “Her Service Our Freedom” across the plate. It also includes the designation “Woman Veteran” below the registration characters.
Michigan now offers 33 military-themed license plates honoring past and present service members and their families.
