LENAWEE CO. — Giving Tuesday is just around the corner on Tuesday, December 2, and Lenawee residents now have the opportunity to double their impact.
The Lenawee Community Foundation says American 1 Credit Union has provided a $5,000 matching gift, meaning every donation made to Lenawee Cares starting immediately will be matched dollar for dollar.
Funds raised will support food assistance, shelter services, childcare, health care, literacy programs, and other local needs across Lenawee County.
Officials are encouraging residents to give early and mark their calendars, noting that all contributions made before and on Giving Tuesday qualify for the match.
