LENAWEE CO. — Kirkland Signature Valdobbiadene Prosecco has been voluntarily recalled due to a safety hazard.
Costco records indicate the affected product, item number 1 8 7 9 8 7 0, was sold between April 25 and August 26 of this year across several Midwestern states, including Michigan.
F and F Fine Wines International reports that certain bottles may break or shatter, posing a laceration risk. The product was sold in a green bottle with purple foil and label for about $8.
Customers who still have the item are advised to stop use immediately and discard the bottles. They should not return them to Costco. Refunds are available with confirmation of purchase or by returning the recall notice.
