TECUMSEH — In a move aimed at strengthening frontline response, the Tecumseh Police Department has appointed Officer Jes Petty, a five–year law enforcement veteran with specialized experience in accident investigation.
Petty officially joined the department on November 10.
Petty previously served with the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, where he was a member of the Accident Investigation Team. He and his family reside in Raisin Township and are longtime Lenawee County residents.
According to the department’s update during the City Council meeting, Petty brings practical field experience and is expected to support roadway incident response, crash review, and public safety operations.
