ADRIAN — The annual Keep Lenawee Warm program is underway in Adrian, providing free winter coats and cold-weather gear to any Lenawee County resident.
The event runs today through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Associated Charities.
Items include coats, blankets, hats, and gloves, and no registration is required. All sizes are available for both children and adults.
The program is supported by community donations and Adrian Dry Cleaners, which handles all cleaning at no cost.
Associated Charities has provided winter assistance to local families for more than 100 years. Staff say demand is expected to be similar to last year, when over 1,800 items were distributed.
