ADRAIN — The Adrian Dominican Sisters will host an immigration presentation next month focusing on recent changes to federal enforcement and how residents can support their immigrant neighbors.
The presentation, led by immigration attorney Sister Attracta Kelly, is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10. It will run from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Weber Retreat and Conference Center on the Motherhouse campus in Adrian.
Kelly is Director Emerita of the Adrian Dominican Sisters Immigration Assistance Office. She plans to outline current immigration law, the rights of immigrants, and steps the public can take if federal immigration agents come to a residence or local organization.
The event is free and open to the public.
